PROGRAM
Day 1: ARRIVAL –ROMA AREA
Arrival at the airport of Fiumicino. (Date and time to be determined). Transfer to the Umbria region, accommodation in the reserved rooms dinner and overnight in hotel.
Day 2: LAKE TRASIMENO – PERUGIA OR GUBBIO
Breakfast at the hotel. Today we move up north to the lake Trasimeno and visit the ancient village of Castiglione del Lago. Afternoon transfer to Perugia or to Gubbio old medieval centre. In late afternoon
return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: SPOLETO AND SPELLO
Breakfast at the hotel. Today we will visit Spoleto (the Cathedral, the Romanesque Basilica of St. Peter) and Spello (famous for the floral display that takes place every year in the spring, but also for its architecture “Temple of S. Maria Maggiore with paintings by Perugino and Pinturicchio). Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: ORVIETO – CIVITA DI BAGNOREGIO
Breakfast at the hotel. Today we will move to Orvieto to discover on of the Etruscan city located on a volcanic hill. Afternoon transfer to Civita di Bagnoreggio visit the old village located on an island of volcanic
tuff. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight
Day 5: BOMARZO – VITERBO
Breakfast at hotel and transfer to visit the Bomarzo Monster Park. Afternoon transfer to Viterbo and visit of Etruscan city. In the evening transfer to the hotel dinner and overnight.
Day 6: LAKE BOLSENA
Breakfast at hotel and transfer on Lake Bolsena full day to relax and walk by the river’s lake. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 7: CERVETARI – TARQUINIA
Breakfast at hotel and full day excursion to the cities of Cerveteri and Tarquinia. Transfer to the hotel dinner and overnight.
Day 8: DEPARTURE
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to airport of Fiumicino. End of the service. Buffet breakfast in the hotel. Transfer at the airport in Catania.
